This project was undertaken while the Director of SEED was working with Mia Lehrer + Associates.   This entire parkland was built above an underground parking structure and provided the perfect opportunity to create outdoor meeting rooms and conversation areas.  Based on 'tablet or pill' shaped forms the circuitous route through the park meandered around circular mounded forms that also provided viewing areas for events that were often held on this vast lawn.  At the end of the site we created four 'hops' growing structures in a slatted timber that became the iconic material for the landscape structures throughout the campus.  Water elements were used throughout for a cooling meditative experience.
